Situation # 1
On the morning of the day I presented this project for a workshop on Combined Media Seminar I hired Manuel Yunganaula, my coworker in apartment remodeling, to open a hole in the gallery at Hunter College. I paid him 60 dollars for the job.
During the presentation I asked Christopher Lin and George Weinberg, two unpaid assistants assigned by the university, to once again cover the hole using drywall. In the installation I exhibited the receipt of my payment to Manuel, and I projected a video that I made during a day of work with Manuel and “Karnail”.
